Odoo/Python Software Developer

Responsibilities

Develop new web applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications Maintain and enhance existing web applications and internal systems Creating unit testing of web applications Develop database-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing Contribute in the design of application architecture Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and learn via presentations and internal sessions Design, Development, maintain and testing of Odoo modules, projects, products and interfaces. Clear documentation for any task/work done.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent. A clear understanding of web and system security issues Previous experience in industry a plus (2+ years) Must possess strong skills in Object Oriented Development with preference to programming in Python Knowledge of Python development frameworks (Django and Flask). Must possess superior skills in SQL, and database optimization is a plus Working knowledge of Linux and bash scripting is an asset A proficiency in HTML and at least one scripting language
