Senior UI Developer

Responsibilities

-Uses modern web technologies to design and code responsive applications. -Builds reusable code and libraries for future use. -Optimizes web pages for maximum speed and scalability. -Revamps UI components and templates for maximum speed and scalability. -Ensures that the integrity of design, branding, and UX standards are maintained throughout development. -Collaborate with Backend Developers, Designers, and QAs. -Suggests process improvements and best practices. -Actively shares knowledge within the team. -Assists in training and mentoring other team members.

Education and/or Experience

-5+ years of professional experience with front end web development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3). -Experience with SASS (ability to write mixings, partials, etc). -Familiarity with Modular CSS Architecture like OOCSS, BEM. -Experience in web standards, semantic web, accessibility, and SEO. -Experience with UI libraries such as ReactJS and its ecosystem. -Produces responsive cross-platform features. -Working knowledge of package managers and front-end build tools (e.g. NPM, Gulp, Webpack). -Experience with source control, preferably Git. -Passionate about performance optimization.
