Senior UX designer

Responsibilities

Facilitate the customers 'and product owners' product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences. Create, improve, and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate with ideas using any of these methods. Design workflows that work on multiple devices and platforms including mobile. Continually keep updated with the latest changes and trends in the industry’s standards. Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences. Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions. Ability to present and validate design concepts with internal and external business stakeholders. Perform usability/heuristic evaluations and validations across the product or solution life-cycle.

Education and/or Experience

5+ years of professional experience with front end web development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3). Experience with SASS (ability to write mixings, partials, etc). Familiarity with Modular CSS Architecture like OOCSS, BEM. Experience in web standards, semantic web, accessibility, and SEO. Experience with UI libraries such as ReactJS and its ecosystem. Produces responsive cross-platform features. Working knowledge of package managers and front-end build tools in a production environment (e.g. NPM, Gulp, Webpack). Experience with source control, preferably Git. Passionate about performance optimization.
